Lost in a sea of people,
Going through the motions.
Here but not present,
Behind a fog obscuring the truth.
Adrift without an anchor.
Grey without colour,
Muffled.

Everything seems faded,
Busy,
Distant.

I want to break through,
Be there with you,
Feel the warmth and light of life.
Hear and be present.
