I stand on the edge of time, Wondering if we could have been better, If we could have stopped this. I stand here thinking of what could have been, What messages we missed, What selfishness and greed destroyed. I stand here as the last. I stand alone. I stand here with no future. One planet, One world, Home to billions of people, and billions of creatures. Every action has a reaction. I stand here on the edge of time. The last of humanity. The last of life.
